Two Awards from Barefooted.Com

Mine is a typical example of a delinquent 'tagee' and just like BarefootedMe's- i lost tracks of my tags (sorry about that guys!- but let me make up for it) too! OMG! (i'll put it on my lists of to do's this 2009). In spite of it all, I am glad and want to flaunt being blessed after having read 2 awards from BarefootedMe which I would like to share with you:

BEAUTIFUL MOM AWARD

MOTHER
This is a truly BEAUTIFUL piece.
Please read this at a slow pace,
digesting every word and in leisure...
Do not hurry....this is a treasure...
For those lucky to still be blessed with your Mom,
this is beautiful.
For those of us who aren't,
this is even more beautiful.
For those who are moms,
you'll love this.
The young mother set her foot
on the path of life.
'Is this the long way?'she asked.
And the guide said: 'Yes,
and the way is hard

And you will be old before
you reach the end of it..
But the end will be better
than the beginning.
'But the young mother was happy,
and she would not believethat anything could be better
than these years.

So she played with her children,
and gathered flowers for them along the way,
and bathed them in the clear streams;
and the sun shone on them,
and the young Mother cried,
'Nothing will ever be lovelier than this.'

Then the night came,
and the storm,
and the path was dark,
and the children shook with fear and cold,
and the mother drew them close
and covered them with her mantle,
and the children said,'Mother, we are not afraid,
for you are near, and no harm can come.'

And the morning came,
and there was a hill ahead,
and the children climbed and grew weary,
and the mother was weary.
But at all times she said to the children,
'A little patience and we are there.'
So the children climbed,
and when they reached the top they said,
'Mother, we would not have done it without you.

'And the mother, when she lay down at night
looked up at the stars and said,
'This is a better day than the last,
for my children have learned fortitude
in the face of hardness.

Yesterday I gave them courage.
Today, I've given them strength.'
And the next day came strange clouds
which darkened the earth,
clouds of war and hate and evil,
and the children groped and stumbled,
and the mother said: 'Look up. Lift your eyes to the light.'
And the children looked and saw
above the clouds an everlasting glory,
and it guided them beyond the darkness.
And that night the Mother said,
'This is the best day of all,
for I have shown my children God.'
And the days went on,
and the weeks and the months and the years,
and the mother grew old
and she was little and bent.
But her children were tall and strong,
and walked with courage.

And when the way was rough,
they lifted her, for she was as light as a feather;
and at last they came to a hill,
and beyond they could see a shining road
and golden gates flung wide.

And mother said,
'I have reached the end of my journey.
And now I know the end
is better than the beginning,
for my children can walk alone,
and their children after them.'
And the children said,
'You will always walk with us, Mother,
even when you have gone through the gates.
'And they stood and watched her
as she went on alone,
and the gates closed after her.
And they said:'We cannot see her but she is with us still.
A Mother like ours is more than a memory.

She is a living presence.......

'Your Mother is always with you...
She's the whisper of the leaves
as you walk down the street;
she's the smell of bleachin your freshly laundered socks;
she's the cool hand on your brow
when you're not well.
Your Mother lives inside your laughter.
And she's crystallized in every tear drop.
She's the place you came from,
your first home;
and she's the map you follow
with every step you take.
She's your first love and your first heartbreak,
and nothing on earth can separate you.
Not time, not space... not even death!

Cinderella has Flu

I am featuring today, a dear friend-Joan, who came from a long weekend (for a much needed family bonding).

As much as we wanted to be a part of the so called work-a-holic group, for these hospital IT project of O***k, her flu deteriorates her voice as well as her figure, now she wears a different enigma of paleness, un-usual actions like....not talking too much:), and her re-touches(make-ups). And Oooppss, inspite of her flu she still hops in with her newly bought 3 inches CLN shoes.

IKAW ANG NAGBAGO, HINDI ANG MUNDO

Allow me to share this message.....Just a sort of a reminder for all of us (esp. to Filipinos).

Emailed by a dear friend Racquel in Canada who is also my "Prince'" godmother.

May multivitamins, vitamin E, vitamin C, royal jelly, tsaka ginko biloba.

Dati, laging may inuman.

Balikan mo sila.

IKAW ANG NAGBAGO,
HINDI ANG MUNDO

Happy Week-end!

It's 31st....and everyone is hoping for a Half-day anouncement here in the office!

We'll for one, i happened to see this from ABS-CBN:
abs-cbnNEWS.com
10/22/2008 2:45 PM

Say goodbye to a long weekend for now.

Malacañang on Wednesday said October 31 and November 3 will remain ordinary working days after November 1 and 2, both public holidays, fell on a weekend.

Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita said traditionally, the government allows employees to go home early on October 31
.

Let's just make the most of our time.....Have a happy weekend!!
(Don't forget to share your experiences the next time!)

Treat-or-Trick....Happy Guising

Halloween (or Hallowe’en) is an international holiday celebrated on October 31. Common festivities include trick-or-treating, ghost tours, bonfires, costume parties, visiting haunted attractions, carving jack-o'-lanterns, reading scary stories, and watching horror movies (source: wikipedia) or plainly taking a day's-off resting at home and eating your favorite food and...chichiriya.

Here in the Philippines, trick-or-treat or guising has become the most sought-after occasion among our youngsters, particularly those from 1-9 years of age. Tomorrow, October 31- surely Department stores like the SM, Robinsons, Landmark, and many more, in the country shall provide a day’s treat by giving away candies or small items and a halloween party good enough for them to enjoy.

As a whole, the precious smiles and the bonding of the family creates a lasting relationship….....anyway, it All Saint’s day after the 31st.

Happy guising!!

BlogRush is Shutting Down

I was so amused at what had happend with this team, but whatever it was that made them decide to close this program, untimely as it may seem....has proven that big dreams come from small beginnings. Allow me to share my sentiments as well as complimenting this group thru this email that was sent to me just hours ago.

Here it goes:

fromBlogRush (system@blogrush.com>to<kelseynco@gmail.com)
dateThu, Oct 30, 2008 at 11:39 AM

subjectBlogRush Is Shutting Down, 11:39 AM (6 hours ago) Reply

After careful consideration, we have decided to shutdown the BlogRush service. If you have the widget code on your blog you will need to remove it.

When BlogRush launched in late-2007 it spread like wildfire all over the Web. Thousands of bloggers were talking about it and the service exploded to become one of the fastest growing free services in the history of the Web. During the first year of the service it successfully served 3.4 Billion blog post headlines and the BlogRush widget could be found on blogs all over the world; even up until the moment we closed down the service.

BlogRush didn't grow without its fair share of problems -- from security issues to abusive users trying to 'game' the system to much lower click-rates than expected. We also had some problems with trying to fairly control the quality of the network, and in the process made many mistakes in deciding what blogs should stay or go. All of these issues, ultimately, limited the service's full potential.

Our team worked very hard to try and build a service that would truly help bloggers of all sizes get free traffic to their blogs. This was our primary focus. Not once did we ever try to monetize the service with ads or anything else. BlogRush never made a single penny in revenue. We wanted to be able to help our users FIRST and then worry about monetizing the service later.

Unfortunately, the service didn't work out like we had hoped. (It happens.)
I want to say "Thank You" to all of the great bloggers that at least gave BlogRush a test to see if it would work for them. We sincerely appreciate you giving the service a try.

We have received several offers & inquiries about acquiring BlogRush, but we are choosing not to go that route. While many might think this is crazy, we truly feel it's the 'right' thing to do for our users. Believe it or not, it's not always about the money. In fact, BlogRush will have lost a small fortune when it's all said and done, and it was by choice. There were many things we could have done to monetize the service but we wanted to make sure it was going to benefit our users first.

Last but not least I want to say that I hope the failure of this service doesn't in any way discourage other entrepreneurs from coming up with crazy ideas at 4AM (like I did with this one) and from "going for it" to just try and see if something will work. Without trying there can be no success. And as we all know, ideas are worthless without action. The Web wouldn't be what it is today without entrepreneurs trying all sorts of crazy ideas.
On behalf of the entire BlogRush team, we wish the best of luck to everyone with their own blogs, ideas, and crazy ventures.

We call it......FAITH

We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated.
We do not know what to do,
but we do not give up the hope of living.
We are persecuted, but God does not leave us.
We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed....
So we do not give up.
Our physical body is becoming older and weaker,
but our spirit inside us is made new every day.
We have small troubles for a while now,
but they are helping us gain an eternal glory
that is much greater than the troubles.
We set our eyes not on what we see
but on what we cannot see...

A SENSE OF PURPOSE

I was once engaged in a Multi-National private company owned by a well know local tycoon, as a senior supervisor of groups of people that ranges from 200-500 heads exclusive of groups of leaders per groups divided. Taking the time to recall those days, as I am now engaged in a different industry-performing a decent but in a low-profiled job tasks and/or projects, I am but chuckling to myself, where else did i got the will to handle my previous responsibilities.

Comparing me then and now, in terms of work loads and job responsibilities- it was truly a worthy question to ask- what had happened that made me choose this lifestyle as I was before. Why? Yes..why.

The Answer.

Being a leader doesn't always mean leading the way we want it to be or just leading by example because it was the way the management's required us to be. Leading means- You also have to be proactive when it comes to handling people and all other related resources that concerns You, your environment, particularly the company's resources -as the custodian of the company. In a way, this bare responsibility of taking care of the resources' would certainly create a separate world that must be totally detached to your personal life.

But of course, for you to indulge it must be a financially rewarding career-a plus if you're still a single, but for married spouses-you must have to weigh things, oftentimes you end up with your bed just to gain this financial baloney of the world.... all the more you probably ended up thinking it could be the price for your family's needs-and so, never mind the family 'coz they're always there for you because it's all for family's sake or maybe because you thought that the income is the thing that compensates for the lost time(?)-- is it? Whichever it maybe, we ought to halt, and ask ourselves, Do I still fit in?Where?

The one thing that we don't care to admit is that, we provide more time for these work because we need to give future for our family or the people around us who are counting on us, but ignored the knowledge that the things with whom we came to work for have been taken for granted for lost time and interest..thus ...we are trailing the path of a lost SENSE OF PURPOSE.

As i then came to my age, it makes me realize that I need to look for a lifetime partner that is a God-sent for me. Yes..i remember asking for it, wholeheartedly, and I was favored. Life is fair.

I considered myself capable of everything but not of having my kids because of the spouses obligations at work. It puts me into a tough situation of choosing the kind of work i had to be in. And yes, after 7 years I have to decide again.

From a known leader next for managerial position to becoming a low-profiled employee, was a 360 degrees shift and a tough deal. Unknowingly to all concerned, it was an obtuse path that I had to overcome.

Jobs are different-easy but tricky to deal, a different world of opportunity to handle with the people you need to mingle with, from arrogant-with lightheaded-to wise-and-the not-so-wise, to genius but not worthy, to non-sense but demanding and trying to be genius and the many other likes of personalities you can choose to expect in a government environment. But don't be wary, life is different in here. It also has a phase, a life of its own, most especially a budget to live with.

For four (4) years I've come to settle for a decent wage and position- but not comparable with the works I am assigned (as i recall)....there were times i want to give up, if not for my loved ones, then i need to survive. Pros and cons was so trivial, turnover was high in our section. Not to compare with how much i was earning then including the free trainings and the outdoor exposure given to all employees without any holds,i was amazed with the way management differs although of course the profit margin differs greatly.

Again i realized, each has a command of purpose. you may choose to say whatever it is.

I always desired for a better life, but now, my desire is for the people I am leaving with. As much as i desire Prosperity in all aspects of my life for me and my family and loved ones....i desire that with the people i worked with, let not your sense of purpose of becoming who you are and why you are who you are be not put aside, be not afraid to stand and put your sense into waste. Always Seek not only what's best for you but also for others to live by.

To the people I love, i seek justice for my love ignored, and care for lost times. For the person i treasure i promise to comeback and do what's best and needed for your future. To the people who oppressed me I seek justice from heaven and pray I am capable to give grace when my time has come to give favor for you and your children.

To opportunities lost because of wrong expectations I ask heaven to give 100x better and allow me to indulge that I may use my potentials to the fullest and be a channel of blessings.

To the family with whom I stayed, i thanked thee for the good and bad days where my patience are earned, for the heartaches, the trials that i have come to live by- which if given the chance i will never forget to remind others as a truly bad example....to the mistress i thanked the more that without her i can no longer stay even more, but who can say who's perfect when those you are living with makes your not so perfect world soooo imperfect?Hhahaha, i heard that being perfect is an ill anyway, try to google it! so that you may know what stage you're in!!

To the family i came from, thank you for all the patience and understanding!

To the other family i came by, thank you for the patience, the good things and the not so good, it's a common story anyway.

To my friends..or those which i considered to be...thank you for being an outlet.

To me...cheers for my new found peace, love, and a new beginning!

Undetected cell phone virus!

It has caused me a lot of trouble since Friday, when a text message from Singapore prompted me to open and read it because of some important transaction. When it was time for me to reply, it was only then that I found out my cell phone hanged! I tried to check all possible keys to know what's happening, and for a while I thought it was just a low battery problem thus I remove and return the batt on its place and recharged it. When I opened the cp a ring came out reading the same number of the last message I got! Then the phone went dead!

I was so dazed to realize that I could have received a virus or whatever, the last thing I remember....I was getting this information - Contact your retailer. Gosh, what had happened to my phone? That I don’t know.

Now comes the realization of having a corrupted os and worst of all..an empty SIM contacts....totally erased! What a great trouble it caused me! All the important dates of appointments, the person and contact, et. al....hhhmp! I wish I had the handwriting backup of my almost 700contacts! with 60+ new contacts for my newly ventured biz!

What a techy world! I used to keep some cell phone or telephone numbers on my calendar/address book before but since it has grown to hundreds, managing it is being taken care by the cp and sim memory. A Big Mistake!

Anyway, I just came this afternoon to NOKIA Care center in Glorietta 4F, Makati and was advised that all my data can no longer be retrieved! The message always popping up every time I open the cp means it has to be re-programmed (!) or worst be taken to their main office for a higher level of technical diagnosis....I HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO LET THEIR PROCEDURE BE DONE, AND SO I LEFT MY CP ON THEIR CARE, HOPING THAT NO OTHER PARTS WILL BE TAKEN....except for checking or diagnosing what could have been the cause and trouble shoot it.

Well, it was not good news for Series users of NOkia, I for one, I just hope that these cellphone manufacturers or telco are doing their post sales responsibilities...(I wonder if this must be a part of a post sales scenario once this problem occurs, im just thinking, since I don’t have any other things I made a part from that message, which certainly crawls first to the telco lines and have been transmitted on my phone, or is it intentional for a new market sale-repair servicing). I’m a smart buddy user, and basically all incoming messages and calls will be transmitted first to telco before it comes down to my finite cp number....oR is there any quality measure to check this type of problem and why does it happen, it should form a part of their Key Results Areas (KRA) because they have their NOKIA technical center and has listings of defects already, thus, they should've released/ be tranparent of this deffects/troubles for cp users to be aware of. On the other hand, this ideas could be another added cost for them, why not have a repair center instead (just like the one they have) where users/cp ownres have to pay another service fee and shoulder another expense- - that's ok if it's a user's handling issue (am I right on this).

I haven't read any blogs about this since yesterday, but I do hope I could hear or read one, in light of this situation. My memory card is still in contact but my sim memory had been lost! Bottom line, 3 transactions have been astray.

Anyway, I think it's just a reminder for me....be wise, just like this cp manufacturers and telco, backup your files always, or if we can...have a hard copy of the phone book cellp(lol)!

Paradigm Shift!

Have gone ill for almost a week and though pc is an arms' reach, can't even think or make way to settle for anything but rest, quality time for my kiddo, eat outside to survive for the remaining 4 days' inhouse.... Flu has found me!

I'm just thankful that my son has a strong immune system, of course with daily sustainance of his vitamins, i've finally decided to take a lonngg (not long enough to enjoy the emptiness of being stuckup inside the room, unless it's time to go outside to take our meals) vacation from work.

At times like this, it makes me realized that the most important source of our strength must not be taken for granted..that is, our own being. Self contentment is when our body and mind both agree to one definition of contentment.....being happy and joyful.

When we stopped or halt for a moment at a time we don't expect or schedule for it to happen, it is high time for a self assessment. How well you need to overcome life's test and how else are your dreams that have gone out for sometime, timelines and more on family issues that need to be settled for future increases, we ended up .....always, asking ourselves- in my case-is sickness a way to figure out all these things or is it His way of answering me?

Snuggling in bed for the answers kept me from smiling and telling myself, what I have become and what I will be existed because of my choices. Hardly to accept, but oftentimes, being sick is congruent to being emotionally unstable...that's the initial symptons, albeit i have to understand now that time is not an excuse.

It is my own self that carries the force towards a possible blessings from the higher one to conquer what my mind can concieved at its best. And it has proven to be correct, in my case.

If almost everything is ok, meaning, things and personals go well around us, it is the SELF that wants the utmost attention, the inner self who's trying to find ways to be the perfect her/him design by the creator at its best! The only thing that hinders to make it happen is because of this.....and i think i will end up with this passage....a relative insight from our pastor's preaching...

"We are God's anointed one......(and i need not feel frustrated with how the way things are going on for things are already done way back before I was conceived) ....it is not just my appointed time, WAIT for your time!

Surely, as i heard these .....long before it was preached by Sis Edna, i was convinced that it's high time for a Paradigm Shift!

TIME MANAGEMENT

Have you ever account the time you spent from doing your daily activities and how well compensated and satisfied you become at the end of the day?

The answer may not usually surprise us because we usually don’t forget to calendar special events or appointments that require our presence or expertise in return for some value added incentives and/or additional income, whereas, those times spent from short and/or extended breaks are not tracked being at all! What do I mean with this?

Efficient time management boils down to the time you started planning your biggest activities down to the very second that you are expected to be doing it as well as all other added actions, even those petty issues that seems to create petty circumstances that pre-assumed not to hinder certain activities- should be taken into consideration. This means listing all your expected dealings for the day including those that are pre-appointed, determining the activities expected, and identifying the critical path that makes your priorities and sub priorities luminous for other concerns.

Use your pen and paper! It still is important to get hold of your original thoughts in this way and eventually adjust as other ideas popped up of your mind and changes your dealings.

First things first! Even the bible has quoted that “no one can serve two masters at a time”, on the contrary, because some has their own encounters where the latter do not apply, you have to backtrack all the things that requires your time and remember the time when you arrived at a stage or point in your activity where there is still a need to risk, give up, or decide on what must be granted with utmost priority, and then finally get back to holding one single option.

Organizing, preparing and executing have always been the guiding principle to many successful people -a secret that has long been open and waiting to be adopted and be practice as a guideline for long term perfection – a common tool to many financially successful people.

While it’s quite difficult to retold the records of people who have been successful on adapting and practicing time management in their careers, business, personal lives, and even to special occasions, it is clear that the beginning of magnifying all activities that we are getting involved with, selecting relevant and beneficial outcome, and organizing all for action in a timely executable pace – would manifest greater value of fulfillment and meaningful lifestyle.

We can now start on focusing creating wealth.

What makes most of your time nowadays?

A Wonderful Trip

My son and I were able to tour in Tagaytay last week and had a wonderful experience seeing the golf courses and other properties that a client wants to view prior his flight this week. As per our itinerary- we were able to spent the day touring around our client to some of the most exhilarating paths and very enjoyable scenic views (It was always a first time seeing Taal- can't forget the time when i was able to be at the crater a foreign friend who invited our group to visit Tagaytay and see all its splendors---visiting again, makes me feel proud that we still have places to go, enjoy, and offer - found only here in Phillippine land!

Here are some of the keepsakes taken from my projects: The Canyon Woods, Splendido, and the Eagle Ridge.

The fishpond inside the Eagle Ridge Clubhouse creates a different ambiance for nature lovers. Even our guest bride enjoyed it with the little boy!

There are 3 Golf Courses in Eagle Ridge, this one is a very nice spot.

You can also enjoy fishing in Canyon Woods just like this one.

By the way, if you happen to be on the look for any kind of property just like these, I will be very pleased to assist you just visit my biz site!

Our next stop .....Baguio!

Back again for blog!

I'm glad that Im back!

It's been a tough week for me this last weeks, this is because of the (down) internet issue of mine back at home and the billing that ballooned because I have no way to free myself that would be beneficial and fair enough for me, to handle the liabilities of this local telco company.

You see, back then, I was a very eager, so excited customer of this telco company who first introduce this wireless landline with an internet connection at Php699/month fixed fee. You only have to choose from among their 2 plans: Plan0-hourly based rate, and Plan something (i forgot the exact amount) that still cost you almost a little over the cost of the first. I choose the first, since my need and concern is for me to have a wireless access of the internet anytime.

For the first month, i was still excited with my phone and the internet which i prefer to use during wee hours every other day during weekdays, since i need to go at my regular office during day time and attend some meetings for my other business transactions on weekends, not to include our sunday service, thus allow me limited time to observe the telco service at its best at the peak of my needs.

Come pay time, billing statement was delivered delayed. It was on my fourth month of using their service when i began ranting and calling their hotline service number for help and complaints.Onething is sure, never did I remember receiving a regular billing statement, but instead always a disconnection notice wherein i found out after a thorough study of billing cut-offs,that i dont get a full 30-days service for my fixed rate of P699/month since cutoff was made every 15th of the month, add another 15 days for the delay of billing, plus their 5days-so called billing preparation...and Ola! A dilemma and emotional distress on my part.

Keeping my account (my name of course) clear from this trouble-since i was in an impression of being a delinquent service user-for which i dont want to be called for-and caught at a tragic balloon of expenses which i used to expect at about Php699+around 500 (still expensive-since i still incur a prepaid cp cost of P1K+/month) a month only is not an easy job to handle. First, i need to overcome the emotional pangs this telco has done to me! well..it's also an effort to be angry and distressed.

What do I mean with this? Well, im keen on gadgets and new technology that fits with my budget, but i go for comfort and needs. Beware then of this budding situations, otherwise, at the onset of the usage- aftersales force of the concerned company must be advised accordingly- anyway, the customer service of this telco is so hard to contact. How I wish that the management would upgrade the quality of their service.

In short, this telco - although im not very familiar with the other- must give their clients a well managed after sales support- especially come payment or billing cutoff. It was a terrifying experience that if you are not used to having debts, getting landline messages including calls to remind you of your obligations - you'll be troubled and irritated all day long.

Anyways, I decided that once i finished the contract (lock for 1yr) this October, i'll terminate their service and find a better, or should i say a fair telco that suits my requirements.

By the way, for internet services, this wireless unit often connects thru the unit metering its way up for a big/expensive cost without connecting on the user interface....i found out this instance many times and i finally understand that its not a service offense but a technical offense! Probably another way to raise their sale?Huh!...Tsk..Tsk...users will finally found this when the time come! I hope soon.

Guess What's the telco name?

It's for the people they say......hahaha, guessed it already?!

Good luck!

Complete Again

It's 7 days and 2hrs to be exact since hubby went out for a business project of NPC in Binga and you can almost relate with me when a light tapped was heard at around 2 o'clock in the morning and have him as a surprised!

Yes, my son and I missed him a lot.

He went out in a bad weather brought by the typhoon cosme, and eventhough it reported over the NEWS on tv that what was left over the Northern Luzon was some moonsoon rains, it still made us too difficult to get a signal from where he's working, not allowing us any calls in between his assignments. All straight week- no communication! It took me prayers, faith, confidence and the basics of love-my trust, to have a firm stand of waiting until any move needs to be done.

Actually it was a good ground for me to test my patience, my courage -not to think negatively for my hubby, and as for myself -my readiness of being alone and far from my hubby unexpectedly. Adding into it is the issue of what has been the problem of some couples-that has now become a norm of the century for a wedded guy-being a polygamus....or maybe even to some ladies around-that affected me, and have created some doubt.

Well, in some point, hubby's advantage can be attributed in his being a "Spiritually inclined person,"- with a vow to the Lord that when and only IF AND IF, the time comes that he's about to be tempted to other girl...he's prayer would be....let him be with God first, for he values his soul more than anything else and wouldn't bargain it for the Kingdom of heaven that he's about to inherit"- and that makes the BIG Difference. Which we both aggreed.

Well, true enough, i can only tell to others that through the years our many experiences had surpassed it all which can be attributed to the basic foundation of our marriage-our vow with God.

And i can only wish for all the the other couples and gentlemen out there, to consider the same thing and at least give credits on this ground.
====
I have allowed my PRAYERS to be manifested out of my vulnerability, before that 2 o'clock am came. Because, by 1 am, same day, i've kept my self from trying to make a call because he's still out pf the coverage area! That made me think to move on a different phase, my sensitivity to incidents which can cause delays with this situation had called for my prayer to work for us. That early morning I know, the nature owes me alot!

God is good. He never allowed me to be defeated by shortened patience, frustrations, and ill-emotions. True enough, after that long prayer, the result has given me that burst of surprised from that tapped on our room......almost 2 o'clock a light tapped was heard on our room. As i opened the door, I was surprised to see him that soon, but to see hubby smiling has made my whole week completely thankful.

I can even recall my son's long and trusting hugs while on bed with hubby, 'coz eventhough in halfsleep, he still can recognized him as he bid goodnight and smiled lazily in deep sleep!

My part is to allow myself to be comforted by his presence, without any questions, for I know, God was with him......for his face has shadowed the tiredness he had for the past week of work..overcoming any difficulties beyond his might.

Exactly 7 days and 2 hrs ago, i have been financially, emotionally, physically, and relationally struck in the absence of my lifetime partner. But i won't be ranting in detail now....for God has made a true manifestation of his promises.

For I know that He never gave any tests that we cannot overcome triumphantly....those were the days that trully became the banner of overcoming my life's difficulties-for trully...I have overcomed it all! By the grace of the Lord God, through prayers.....not by my might, through strong belief, not of anything else.By his wisdom...and the courage that his promises will never fail you.

Almost 11pm, this day....me, my son and hubby had a late dinner in a food chain, talking in good moods like never before and with a new news of his upcoming project somewhere in Davao. But as for now, no doubt came in...no fear existed...for I know, when God blesses us...He will never add sorrow into it ....but gives us His grace and promise completely all the more!

Budget at stake

With the ever rising price increases to almost all commodities around the market here in the Philippines, it is just a wise move that every single penny must be managed accordingly. Well of course to some-this would be a simple common thought, particularly to people who really know how to handle their resources up to the last cent, but not for me.

I can only recall the last time where my one (1) thousand pesos (Php1,000) can still buy me 2bags of grocery-fulled items in the supermarket. Just this afternoon, when my son and I went from a nearby department store, that same amount can no longer give us the credit of buying the things we need much more to other new products in the market-because such can only give us one (1) bag worth of grocery!

And yes, i should have calculated it -at least for my sake, to make sure that i can be able to buy the basic priorities-take note: this is just for my priority items- needed for this week (I usually go for a week's grocery-that's why I am easily affected with this so-called economic crisis; btw, why can't the DTI regulate these stores anyway-are they not aware of these increases on a weekly basis).

And because there were items that need to be included for this week's shopping, i need to waived some other extras (including those for myself) to buy for its cost. Maybe, the truth of this situation is that-I should have been ready for this changing prices at all times. As such, who else will comfort me on this scenario- except myself? What is really the problem with our economy? I just hope this simple mind can comprehend the true mazes we are into.

In such case, as a consumer I need to be more wiser and be prepared with my budget listings before I indulge myself into something. You see, I am not the type to carry such lists unless I was told to buy things- in any case if I'm quite short of the budget i can still manage to shell out, but that was before- barely 1 week ago...hahaha, a disgrace to compare with this week's prices!

Now i won't be surprised if by next week, prices won't be the same again because school opening is fast approaching. I must save myself the headache of complaining when I finally be the one to buy my son's school items and requirements- especially when it's my son's first time to go to school.

Welcome

Whew!

I've finally made this blog of mine, after doing some availability checking of blognames from the site, here i come.

My desire to share my personal and utmost concerns to issues, persons, and entities has driven me to push this blog. I am looking forward that everything goes well, just like all the others who have established themselves in the world of www and find themselves free from the regular habits of waking up in the morning finding a suitable suite to wear, rushing to the traffic jams, and beating the work schedule of the regular 8 hours work 5 days a week, all year round. And yes...i may assume that i am the last one to blog about this. But, lo, at least, i have found the true place to share others the pros and cons of life. Running my own race as anybody else.

I have always desired to have my own bread and butter, but on how to start and maintain it...only those who succceed can tell.

Thus, allow me to be a part of your social networks as i dwell into a new lifestyle of blogging my way to the whole world!
